Job Description
Virtusa is on the lookout for an experienced Big Data Engineer with a minimum of 7 years in the field, focusing on Spark and Scala. The perfect candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of HDFS, Hive, and Impala, as well as expertise in Unix, Oracle, and Autosys. Experience with Spark streaming and NoSQL databases—such as HBase, MongoDB, or Couchbase—is essential. Familiarity with Agile methodology and banking experience will be advantageous.
