Job Description
Location: HIG-1052-A, 6 Main Road, Eri Scheme, Mogappair, Chennai, India. Shift: Night (On-call/Fixed).
We seek a precise, dependable Lab Technician to manage urgent transplant sample collection, safe handling, and pre-analytical processing during night hours. Responsibilities include coordinating with hospital transplant teams, ensuring accurate labeling and chain-of-custody, maintaining cold chain, performing aliquoting/centrifugation/DNA or HLA sample prep, logging activities, and reporting deviations. Adherence to NABL/CAP/QMS standards, biosafety and ethical handling of cadaver samples is essential. Provide clear handovers and support night inventory and equipment upkeep.
- Qualifications: DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / M.Sc. Life Sciences or equivalent.
- Experience: 1–3 years in clinical/molecular diagnostics or HLA lab preferred.
- Job type: Full-time. Pay: ₹12,00–₹15,00/month.
