Job Description
The SPE-Medical Coding HC position at Cognizant requires precise coding of healthcare products and services to improve billing and reimbursement outcomes. Ideal candidates should be available for night shifts in the office and possess 2 to 4 years of experience in Clinical Coding Revenue Cycle Management and Medical Coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve 100% daily productivity targets.
- Maintain 98% accuracy in audit reports.
- Score 95% in monthly coding assessments.
- Mentor new colleagues and support them with technical challenges.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a strong understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, proficiency in coding software, and excellent analytical and communication skills.
Certifications Required: A CPC or CCS certification is mandatory.
