Job Description
Ford Motor Company is currently seeking an Operations Buyer to manage Operational Purchasing activities within the North America Market. The successful applicant will work closely with the North America Category Implementation Buyer and Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) to ensure effective sourcing and procurement.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
2. Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
3. Robust experience in Commodity Purchasing, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Vendor Development.
4. OEM experience with 6-10 years of relevant expertise.
5. Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving abilities.
6. Availability to work late evening shifts.
This position entails overseeing Stamping Buyer responsibilities for Exterior Commodities, conducting cost analyses, negotiating with suppliers, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
