Job Description
Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Trainee Dialysis Technician to set up and operate hemodialysis equipment for patients with kidney failure. Responsibilities include attaching dialyzers and tubing; priming extracorporeal circuits with 0.9% saline; labeling dialyzers and bloodlines with patient name and ID (single-use items excluded); preparing dialysis solutions and mixing bicarbonate; explaining procedures to patients; connecting machines to vascular access sites; monitoring equipment for malfunctions; and maintaining logbooks, forms, and registers. The role requires strict adherence to safety, infection control, and accurate documentation.
