Job Description
Join our Advanced Controls team as an intern and contribute to the development of a lightweight, scalable historian system for Linux. This innovative platform is designed to efficiently store and analyze time-series data from field devices. In this role, you will implement a historian service that ingests high-frequency data via MQTT and stores it in TimescaleDB. You will also test the service, create presentations to communicate your progress, and engage in talent events.
Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with proficiency in Java or Python and experience with relational databases. Strong organizational and communication abilities are necessary for success in this role.
