Job Description
We are seeking a Database Administrator to design, install, and maintain reliable, secure database systems. The role includes managing backups and recovery, performance tuning, replication, security, monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with developers to optimize queries and schemas.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Experience: 3+ years in database administration
- Technical skills: strong SQL; experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server; scripting in Shell or Python
- Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, high availability, and security best practices
- Certifications preferred
