Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee patient billing, submit claims, resolve denials, and post payments to maximize revenue and reduce account aging. The position verifies insurance eligibility, audits accounts, follows up on unpaid claims, prepares financial and aging reports, and collaborates with clinical and insurance teams to expedite collections.
- Requirements: 2+ years of medical billing experience and working knowledge of CPT/ICD coding.
- Proficiency with EHR and billing software, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to meet monthly collection targets and improve revenue cycle performance.
