Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inpatient (IP) DRG Coder to ensure accurate assignment of ICD-10-CM/PCS and DRG codes and compliance with billing and regulatory standards.
- Review inpatient medical records and abstract pertinent clinical data.
- Assign appropriate IP DRG and ICD codes in accordance with current guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinicians to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
- Maintain high-quality documentation and support audit readiness.
